The presence of a demon race is well established. There is clear evidence that we are surrounded by survivors of demon encounters. Like those who have experienced alien abduction, humans who have interacted with a demon are forever scarred by their experience, and yet mocked if they speak about it publicly. So many of them live in shame, while the rest of us blithely go about our business unaware of the threats in our midst.

I have had the good fortune to meet several demon encounter survivors, to spend time with them, and to understand their experiences. I preserve their stories as my contribution to science and humanity. I am known to some as a bit of an expert on these matters, as I am in the dark arts, alien abduction, and all matters of communication with the dead, and so it is natural that the survivors seek me out in order to unburden themselves and come to peace with their ordeal.

These creatures also have human sympathizers. One need not look further than the ramblings of much of the Hollywood and political elite, and of course Dr. Midnite, to know that all is not well in this great country of ours.

My most recent interview was with a young man, a researcher, who prefers to remain anonymous. We shall call him Edwin.

Edwin and his partner were undertaking some research in the frigid and barren Canadian north, when their helicopter became disabled. They were led away from safe haven in their helicopter by the cries of some animals that they feared were injured. From there they became disoriented and lost, which was unusual as they were both experienced trackers and outdoorsmen. After a bit they realized that they were being followed. This was a bit surprising of course because they were in the desolate north. They at first assumed an animal, perhaps a polar bear, which are known for their predatory and stalking behavior.

However as they circled back on their own tracks for the third time, it soon became evident from the footprints in the snow that whatever was following them was not any human or animal known to man.

Edwin’s accounts of what came after are hazy, as I believe he and his partner were drugged, and were no doubt experimented on. He indicates a chase occurred, and that they eventually were cornered. Edwin lapsed in and out of coherence as I interviewed under hypnosis. He just kept moaning “the teeth”, “the teeth” and spoke of a “hole in the world.” No amount of coaxing would lead him to reveal any further details, despite my expertise in mesmerism. I fear this poor man has been touched, and will never be quite the same.

His partner declined to participate in an interview.
